Spark Ablation Aerosol Deposition Technology
Spark Ablation Aerosol Deposition Technology
  • 01 Principle of nano-aerosol growth
  • 02 Type of spark ablation preparation
  • 03 Aerosol deposition method

Aerosol refers to a gaseous dispersion system composed of solid or liquid particles suspended in a gaseous medium.

Spark ablation technology uses the principle of spark discharge technology to apply high pressure at both ends of the electrode material (target) with little curvature, thereby breaking through the non-conductive medium to form a continuous discharge, because the spark discharge is accompanied by low-power explosive energy output, the electrode material will quickly evaporate (flash) into atoms under the action of ablation, and gradually condense into particles, and the particles are dispersed in an inert gas atmosphere to form nano aerosols.

Using spark ablation methods, a variety of nanomaterials including metal elements, oxides, alloys, semiconductors, carbon materials, and mixture materials of more than 60 elements can be synthesized.

While preparing nano-aerosols by spark ablation technology, nanoparticles can be collected by aerosol deposition methods such as monodisperse particles, nano-loading, size screening, pattern printing and other aerosol deposition methods in combination with other aerosol-related instruments and material research systems.
