PALD (Powder ALD) fluidized bed technology
The Prometheus is designed to provide researchers with tools for the development of fine coatings of large quantities of powder. The system accommodates up to 8 precursors, including high vapor pressure delivery and bubbling low vapor pressure delivery systems, making it easy to handle gaseous, liquid and solid precursor formulations. This novel ALD R&D tool is equipped with a variety of fluidization methods to ensure that the particles are sufficiently fluidized to form a homogeneous coating. Vibrating fluidized bed reactors and high shear jets help prevent powder aggregation and improve mixing in the reactor. A high degree of automation and intelligent monitoring make the feed highly controlled. The system is equipped with emergency stop logic to enable the ALD system to operate continuously, safely and autonomously. The user interface is also intuitive and easy to use and learn.
